Isra A. Shilad
Isra Shilad is an attentive and skilled clinician dedicated to providing exceptional care. Isra is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist located in Montclair, NJ. She completed her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College and is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association in New Jersey and New York. She also holds a teachers license in the state of New York for speech and language disabilities (TSSLD).
Isra specializes in working with the pediatric and school aged populations. She encourages family and clinician collaboration to tailor all therapy and evaluations to each child’s particular needs. Isra conducts treatment with each child uniquely to fit their interests and optimize the results of each activity. She has experience working with clients who present difficulties in language, articulation, literacy, stuttering, feeding, cognition, and children with an autism diagnosis. Her strengths include finding innovative methods to motivate and engage her clients during sessions, making them fun and interactive for all participants.
